- Asset register: Keep every company asset (laptops, phones, ID cards, SIM cards, vehicles and more) with its category, serial number and current status.
- Assign to employees: Assign an asset to an employee with the handover date and its condition, so the employee’s record shows everything they hold.
- Return and handover records: Take an asset back with the return date and condition, and keep the full history of who held it and when.
- Asset requests: Employees request an asset from the app, the request goes for approval, and the approved asset is assigned to them.
- Exit recovery: When an employee resigns, the assets they hold appear in their exit clearance, and clearance waits until each one is returned.
- Warranty and purchase dates: Record purchase and warranty dates for each asset, so you know what is still under warranty when something fails.

What is asset management in an HR system?
It is a register of the company assets given to employees, such as laptops, phones and ID cards, with a record of who holds each one, when it was handed over and when it came back.
What kinds of assets can we track?
Any asset you give to employees: laptops, desktops, phones, SIM cards, ID and access cards, vehicles, tools and more. Each has a category, serial number and status.
Can employees request an asset?
Yes. Employees raise an asset request in the app. It goes for approval, and once approved the asset is assigned to them with a handover record.
How do we make sure assets come back when someone leaves?
Assets an employee holds appear in their exit clearance automatically. Clearance is complete only when each asset is recorded as returned.
Can we see which assets an employee has?
Yes. Each employee’s record lists the assets they hold, and each asset keeps the full history of who has held it.
Does SleetHR track warranty dates?
Yes. Record the purchase and warranty dates for each asset, so you can check whether it is still under warranty when it needs repair or replacement.
