How it works

3 steps, start to finish.

Sleet ERP

Real-Time

Inventory Valuation

  • Step 1

    Goods Receipt

Inward items are received against a purchase order by scanning barcodes; stock counts increment automatically.

  • Step 2

    Sales Order Lock

When an invoice is issued, inventory reserves and deducts in real time with no manual stock adjustment.

  • Step 3

    Audit Alert

System notifies when any SKU drops below the minimum safe buffer, triggering a draft reorder request.

What it does

Inside Inventory & Stock Tracking

Track stock levels, transfers, and low-stock alerts across warehouses.

  • Batch & serial number tracking: Monitor manufacturing batch codes, expiry dates, and individual serial numbers — with automatic alerts before expiry-critical stock becomes unsellable.
  • Automated reorder triggers: When any SKU drops below the configured safety buffer, Sleet Accounting generates a draft purchase order automatically and notifies the procurement team.
  • FIFO & Weighted Average valuation: Choose your cost accounting method per item category for accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and inventory asset values on the balance sheet.
  • Barcode & QR scanning: Smartphone camera scans replace manual SKU typing for goods receipt, dispatch, and stock-take operations.
  • Multi-warehouse visibility: View real-time stock levels, pending inward deliveries, and reserved quantities across all warehouses and showrooms from a single dashboard.
  • Physical count reconciliation: Log physical audit counts against system stock; discrepancies generate automatic adjustment journal entries with audit notes.

What changes

What changes on day one.

What teams notice in the first weeks of Inventory & Stock Tracking on Sleet ERP.

  • Stock-outs stop happening because reorder points are watched automatically, not by memory.
  • Warehouse staff scan instead of manually typing SKU numbers into a register.
  • Expiry-sensitive stock gets flagged before it becomes unsellable dead inventory.
  • Finance always has an accurate inventory valuation, not a quarterly estimate.
  • Physical stock counts reconcile against the system instead of fighting it.
  • Multi-warehouse businesses see exactly what sits where, in real time.

Something else? Message us on WhatsApp at +91 82001 72869 or write to sales@getsleet.cloud.

Can we track products with multiple variants like size, color, or grade?

Yes. Parent SKUs support unlimited variant combinations (size × color × grade) with unique pricing, individual stock levels, and separate barcode per variant.

Does inventory valuation update live when purchase prices change?

Yes. Both FIFO and Moving Weighted Average (MWA) valuation methods recalculate COGS and inventory asset values automatically when new goods are received at a different cost.

Can stock audits and physical reconciliation be recorded?

Yes. Log physical count discrepancies against the system ledger; Sleet Accounting generates automatic stock adjustment entries with auditor name, timestamp, and reason notes.

How does batch tracking help with product recalls or expiry management?

Each batch is tagged with manufacturing date, expiry date, and supplier lot number. Expiry alerts fire a configurable number of days before the date, and you can instantly see which customers received any specific batch.

Can the system handle raw materials and finished goods in a manufacturing context?

Yes. Define bills of materials (BOM) and track raw material consumption against production orders. Finished goods receipt updates stock while simultaneously reducing component levels.

How does barcode scanning work for warehouse operations?

Staff use the Sleet Accounting mobile app camera or a connected Bluetooth barcode scanner to scan items during goods receipt, dispatch, and stock-take. No dedicated hardware terminal is required.

What happens when a sale is made and the stock drops below the reorder point?

As soon as a sales invoice reduces stock below the configured minimum level, an automatic notification goes to the purchase manager and a draft purchase order is pre-filled with the reorder quantity and default vendor.
